Discover. Engage. Belong.

We love our community. We strive to create leaders that change the world.

Our Programs

Our programs focus on understanding the process of student and scholar visas, benefits, restrictions, orientation, travel, and employment. We want to foster international student leadership and build community. Our goals are to promote cross-cultural understanding throughout the University and create connections and friendships that include partnering with student clubs, organizations, and campus partners.

Around the World Language Workshops

Around the World Language Workshops feature an introductory language lesson taught by a KU international student or scholar. The workshops are informal and do not count for course credit, but do count for GAP (Global Awareness Program) credit. Students who participate in 10 language workshops a semester will be able to earn an Around the World Language certificate.

The Fall 2022 workshop series will be held on Wednesdays at 3:00 in 4068 Wescoe Hall.
