Biography —
Keerthana grew up in the southern part of India and spent 10 years traveling for work and studies. She graduated with a master's degree in International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the University of Warsaw, Poland, and the University of Haifa, Israel. Prior to that, she spent five years teaching English in Thailand.
At ISS, she works on student engagement and integration programs to ensure the academic and social transition of international students on campus. Her primary areas of work include planning and implementing orientation for newly admitted international students, advising the International Student Association, and coordinating employment-related programming for international students.
Keerthana is also involved in institutional advocacy for international faculty and staff, serving a second term on the Executive Board of the KU International Faculty and Staff Council. When not at work, she has two pit bulls and loves playing fetch with them.
