2026 International Student Graduation Celebration

KU International Affairs invites graduating international students, their families, and friends to the International Student Graduation Celebration. Join us on Friday, May 15 at 2:00 pm in the Burge Union for a recognition event and reception!
Information for Graduating International Students
KU International Affairs is thrilled to celebrate our graduating international students and their many accomplishments!
- Graduating students must have submitted an application to graduate with the Office of the University Registrar in Fall 2025, Spring 2026, or Summer 2026, before submitting RSVP.
- Graduating students must RSVP by Wednesday, May 6th, to participate in the event and receive a recognition certificate. The link to RSVP is below.
- Graduating students need to check in between 1:15 pm and 1:45 pm on the day of the event in the Burge Union, Forum D.
- Graduating students, family, and friends should be seated in Burge Union C and D by 2:00 pm.
- A reception will follow the ceremony, including cake and beverages.
- Graduating students should wear business casual clothing or traditional dress to the ceremony. This is not an official graduation ceremony, so students do not need to wear a cap and gown.

There are two providers you can purchase from:

- Can take up to 4 weeks for shipping and delivery
- Must order by April 18th
Can be picked up at ISS’s Graduation Recognition Ceremony on May 15th, and shipping will be free if ordered by April 19th.

Important Details for Students:
- All free shipping orders must be submitted by midnight on April 19.
- It is not necessary for students to enter a shipping address when using the free shipping coupon. Your stole will be shipped automatically to the ISS office, and you can pick it up directly from the Burge Union.
Note: All students MUST use their KU (@ku.edu) Email when checking out. To ensure your flag stoles are ready for pickup at the event, please place your orders by the respective deadlines. When entering your address, students should use their credit card billing address, as this may differ from their campus address.
