Life in the U.S. is an ongoing series of transition and academic support seminars infused with friendship, fun, and humor to keep students engaged.

Participants will:

  • Meet other students to develop new friendships and strengthen connections with one another
  • Meet other student leaders and KU staff members
  • Increase their comfort level at KU and their identification with the University because of these connections
  • Learn about a variety of topics regarding academic life that will help them to have a successful start at KU

In this seminar we’ll discuss the college drinking culture, as well as discuss how we keep ourselves and our friends safe while drinking.
