What does he do at ISS?

Steve assists KU international students with academic (non-immigration) questions and concerns. He assists International Jayhawks in a variety of capacities from academic to cultural or personal issues. As a coordinator he refers students and ISS staff to other KU units to work together and create processes and practices which enhance the KU experience for International Jayhawks.

Who is Steve?

Steve has spent most of his career in international education, international development and higher education. He has lived, worked or traveled in 90 countries on projects related to educational exchange, agricultural and community development. As a student he participated in study abroad programs in Guatemala and Germany. He has also led study abroad programs in Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, Malaysia and Taiwan. He likes to spend his free time doing adventure touring one of his motorcycles or visiting family in Ireland. You’ll also find him a regular patron of Cinema A-Go Go and the Bourgeois Pig.
