Setting Up Browser for iHawk
Chrome
- Open the "Settings" menu.
- Scroll to the bottom, click on the "Advanced" button.
- Click on the "Clear browsing data" button.
- Ensure time range is set to "All time", and that all checkboxes are checked for both the "Basic" and "Advanced" tabs, then click on the "Clear data" button.
- Click on the "Content settings" button, followed by the "Cookies" button.
- Ensure the following switches are enabled: "Allow sites to save and read cookie data", "Keep local data only until you quit your browser", "Block third-party cookies".
- Back on the main Settings page, click on the "Manage passwords" button. Ensure the switch is set to "Off".
- Close and reopen browser, access iHawk.
Firefox
- Open the "Options" menu.
- Click on "Privacy and Security". Under "History", click on "clear your recent history". Ensure the time range is set to "Everything". Click on "Clear Now".
- Under "Site Data", click on "Clear All Data". Then click on "Clear Now".
- Under "History", set Firefox to "Use custom settings for history", and ensure the options are set as shown below.
- Close and reopen browser, access iHawk.
Edge
- Open the "Settings" menu.
- Under "Clear browsing data", click "Choose what to clear".
- Ensure the options are set as shown below, and click "Clear".
- Back on the main "Settings" menu, under "Advanced settings", click "View advanced settings".
- Under "Privacy and services", ensure "Offer to save passwords" is set to "Off".
- Ensure "Cookies" is set to "Block only third party cookies".
- Close and reopen browser, access iHawk.
Internet Explorer
- Open the "Internet Options" menu.
- Under "Browsing history", ensure "Delete browsing history on exit" is checked.
- Under "Browsing history", click "Delete...". Ensure the options are set as shown below, and click "Delete".
- On the "Privacy" tab, click "Advanced".
- Ensure the options are set as shown below, and click "OK".
- Close and reopen browser, access iHawk.
Safari
- Under "History", click "Clear History..." and choose to clear all history in the pop-up menu.
- Open the "Preferences..." menu.
- Under the "General" tab, set "Remove history items" to "After one day".
- Under the "AutoFill" tab, ensure "User names and passwords" is unchecked.
- Under the "Privacy" tab, ensure "Block all cookies" is unchecked.
- Close and reopen browser, access iHawk.
