What does she do at ISS?

Mikhayla is the ISS Orientation Coordinator. She helps plan and execute the “You at KU – International” Orientations at the start of each semester.

Who is Mikhayla?

Mikhayla is a Lawrence native and a graduate student in the School of Education’s M.S.E. in Curriculum & Instruction/TESOL program. After she graduates, she wants to teach ESL at the university level.

Personal Fun Fact

Mikhayla loves learning languages and has spent time studying four different languages between high school and college—Latin, Ancient Greek, Spanish, and German. (But German is the only one she can speak.)
