Keila Ferree
What does she do at ISS?
Keila assists KU international students with academic (non-immigration) questions and concerns. She assists International Jayhawks in a variety of capacities from academic to cultural or personal issues. As a coordinator she refers students and ISS staff to other KU units to work together and create processes and practices which enhance the KU experience for International Jayhawks.
Who is Keila?
Keila grew up in Nevada, Missouri and attended Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, FL and Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. Prior to coming to the University of Kansas, Keila worked in international admissions and recruitment at Columbia College and the University of Missouri Kansas City and as a Transition Coach for Johnson County Adult Education. Keila has traveled to over 25 countries and enjoys experiencing new cuisine, viewing traditional art and interacting with locals and fellow travelers while exploring. In her free time she enjoys supporting the Kansas City Royals and attending Kansas City Ballet and Symphony performances.
