What does she do at ISS?

Laurel coordinates the “YOU at KU” orientation, assists with international student check-in processes, compiles pre-arrival mailing materials and assists with pre-arrival questions.

Who is Laurel?

Laurel is originally from Abilene, Kansas and came to Lawrence in 2012 to study at KU. She completed her undergraduate degree in East Asian Languages and Cultures and Global and International Studies in 2016. Laurel is currently working on her Master’s in Higher Education Administration and will graduate in 2019. In her spare time Laurel loves to cook and share meals with friends and family and explore new places.

Personal Fun-Fact

Laurel has climbed to the top of Mt. Fuji and was SCUBA certified at the age of 11 years old.
