Dear KU students from Paraguay,

Just a reminder about the event below if you have not already gotten back to me. We will pay for your lunch on Saturday, and we will also pay for lunch for a friend from Kansas, so please feel free to bring someone with you!

Best, Marta

Regarding: Paraguay and KU

Welcome back to KU! I hope you have had a wonderful and relaxing summer!

Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Marta Caminero-Santangelo and I am the Director of the Center for Latin American and Caribbean Studies (CLACS) here at KU. We would love to meet you!

We are honored and excited that on Saturday, October 2nd, the Kansas Paraguay Partners association will be holding their annual meeting on KU’s campus. We would love for you to be able to meet with us for lunch (provided free by CLACS!) and to tell us a little bit about your experiences as a KU student from Paraguay. This would be very informal, of course. If you are interested, please email me asap at camsan@ku.edu.

We will also be showing a film from Paraguay on Friday evening, October 1st, and invite you to attend that as well! We can share more details shortly.

Once again, please email me if you are interested in either of these events—or just to introduce yourself, regardless!

Very best,

Marta
